I just wanted to write this to let you all know that i have given the guild back to Elysse.... I tried and just could not do everything i wished quick enough... i am sorry and i hope RS the best of luck... i will be keeping a toon or two around and will try to be as active as possible... thank you all for letting me at least attempt this... and thank you all for sticking with me... and I'm sorry

The time has come to pass on the reigns of leadership of Royal Steel. I've been in here for a long time now, and really I've stayed too long. Royal Steel needs someone to lead it who has a plan for where to go with the guild. I don't have that any longer. I've been far to hands off, especially lately and have lost touch with what the most active players in the guild want, probably to the detriment of the guild itself.

I love Royal Steel. I wouldn't have put so much effort into saving it after the near fatal split a few years ago. I had a lot of people telling me the guild was going to die. I didn't want that to happen and fortunately a lot of you didn't either. To everyone who stuck with the guild in those times, who helped keep it alive despite all the pain, thank you very, very much.

Sometime pretty soon I will be passing the leadership on to Squey. He's stupidly...er, bravely, agreed to take over. I wish him good luck and hope for a bright future for Royal Steel.

Memorial Day Raids by Kallinan on May 21, 2008, 12:18 pm

This front page post is mostly to draw attention to an earlier start time of 6pm ET for Monday's Karazhan raid. This was discussed a couple times over the past week, and no objections were raised. Hopefully this does not catch anyone unaware.

Of course, we'll also be running Karazhan on Saturday, along with Gruul & Magtheridon on Sunday. Also of note is Sannhet's Zul'Aman raid, which is scheduled for 8:30pm ET on Friday. Happy raiding!

Ok lets try this again. Hopefully this next weekend will allow more people to come than this previous weekend. We were really undermanned on the signup sheet.

We really need everyone who can come to sign up. This should be a lot of fun and once we learn the encounter should be very very easy loot of spectacular quality.

Congratulations to everyone who came to the raid. It was hard fought as we learned the ropes but in the end we destroyed everything! Even with a potentially crippling set back on our last fight with Gruul we managed to pull out a win.

All of you are just amazing people and I really love you all

Congrats to the winners! Now that we have our feet wet we'll be hitting up more and more of the 25 man bosses.
